The Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats refresher is a refresher course of the Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats Course. These courses are meant for all the crew members to which the original certificates have expired.
During the Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats Refresher course your memory will be refreshed on how to act in various emergency situations on board of a ship. The Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats Refreshed of Yacht Point is approved by STCW and complies with the demands of the STCW10 Manila amendments and this certificate is required to have before you can conduct any work on a ship.
This course of non-rapid rescue boats and survival craft helps to train students by enabling them to:
- handle rescue devices and take over a survival craft or rescue boat
- operate with a survival craft motor
- organize the survivors in a survival craft
Pre-requisite experience:
Basic safety traning
Duration:
32 hours (18 hours of theory and 14 hours of practice)

Qualifications:
Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boat – STCW Reg VI/2 para 1 & Sec A-VI/2 para 1-6
