This course is your opportunity to become a certified instructor and start teaching the next generation of powerboaters.
Course Price: 950 €
Before beginning the PBI course, all candidates must complete the RYA Powerboat Instructor Skills Assessment, which ensures you have the necessary skills and experience to succeed in the instructor training.
Experience Requirements:
- Five seasons of logged powerboating experience (ideally across a variety of boat types and sizes), or
- One season if powerboating is an integral part of your full-time work.
What You’ll Gain:
Upon completing the course, you’ll be qualified to teach up to Powerboat Level 2. If you hold the RYA Safety Boat Certificate, you can also teach the Safety Boat Course. Beyond the qualification, the course develops your confidence, teaching skills, and professional knowledge, allowing you to work safely and effectively as an instructor.
